Photography is a lot more than work, for me it’s a passion. To be able to be there for special occasions in peoples lives, whether thats wedding related or just a family photo shoot, is a really special, and I try to capture moments that people will want to keep forever.

Being based out of the midwest, I like to make use of the beautiful landscapes we have around. When I’m not working with photography clients you will often find me taking pictures of the night sky, (which I have over at my other site: https://horizontrailsimages.bigcartel.com) on the side of a mountain, or an a mountain bike adventure, pretty much anything outside.

Something that is really important to me is my participation in volunteer work. This work has taken me all over the world including to Indonesia for volunteer education work, helping the deaf and blind communities there, humanitarian disaster relief work in the Caribbean and various parts of the US.

Wherever life takes me I will probably always have a camera in my hand. Photography helps me to look at life through different perspectives, looking for the beauty in people, and the beauty thats is all around us.
